How Much of Sprained Ankle Rehab is Mental?

If you do a Google search for sprained ankle, you will not sell many ads patches to see potions and lotions that promise you can sprain your ankle heal "2-4 patches" or 4 days.

Some of the ads say that you get immediate cure .... yeah, right. I think you probably have a reduction in pain as a result of a local anesthetic, but that is speculation.

But if it were true. If you could make a patch to apply rub on a lotion or a potion and ankle were"miraculously healed" ... You would really believe that your ankle is healed?

The answer is probably no.

A large part of the rehabilitation process is mental. To start a rehab program and how to follow him, you start to see progress on the strength of the ankle. As rehabilitation continues, you continue to see an improvement ... until the day comes when you are ready to return to normal activities.

Now the time comes when your foot is put to the test ... will keep it? Behurt her again? Does the rehab really work?

If you have a patch, potion or lotion ... uses that do not trust you that your ankle is actually stronger and healed.

After all, you do not have to work to get it back into shape. How could it actually be cured if anything to strengthen the muscles, tendons and ligaments do?

The question I ask about the patches, potions and lotions:

If they are so good, you do not believe that athletes who earn millions of dollars a year, would they?
