The Truth About Ankle Braces

Do your ankles ankle braces really weaker?

As long as I can remember, I've always heard that making the wearing of ankle braces around your ankles weak.

I wore ankle braces during my basketball career because I had weak ankles. My ankles were the result of repeated ankle sprains weak and not always the right rehabilitation program.

The so-called X-brace and with 2 Velcro straps that cross over the top of the foot and wrap around the floor like a basket weave belt job. You can use the straps as tight as you want, and unlike tape, they will not get away, as you sweat.

When I was in school we were required to get our ankles tapedto minimize before every practice and every game, or prevent injuries.

Ankle braces additional support and protection to prevent injuries, but still crucial that you start on a sound ankle rehabilitation program if your ankles are weak and you continue to have ankle sprains.

Because no matter how good the ankle brace, if your ankles are weak, you will always suffer more frequent and severe sprained ankle.

So, do not turn your ankle bracesWeak ankles, weak ankles, but if they give you protection until they can be stronger.
